Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this.

While the band is undoubtedly indebted to the heavy stoner rock sound of the 90's, they also have a distinctive laid back vibe that make they more than a replica of Kyuss or Fu Manchu. In fact, they delve into psychedelia more than the aforementioned bands did. There are also more heavy metal and less hardcore punk influences in their sound. The bass guitar is quite heavy in the mix and in the forefront in a way that reminds me of groove metal at times. European sound all the way. Great stuff!
